We provide a variety of options for corporations and organisations looking to have their staff trained in Korean language. Whether you are intending on sending a single staff on course, or booking a lecture hall for 60 pax, we have options to suit your requirements!

Corporate Courses: Booking your own private course for your community
Our corporate courses cater to companies who wish to engage SKLS to craft a dedicated course to teach their employees Korean. Sejong currently already holds corporate classes for many Korean and multi-national companies in Singapore who are looking to train their employees in Korean Language.

When writing in, do let us know the following details:

group size,
preferred time and day of lessons,
level of the class (e.g. zero knowledge of Korean language OR prior knowledge of Korean language (let us know how many approximated contact hours the group has been exposed to)),
preferred start date,
preferred location (at your company's address (facilities required is adequate classroom style seating and whiteboard) OR at our school HQ)
Aims and objectives you would like the students to achieve

Please note that each of our courses is equivalent to a minimum of 18 contact hours, you may choose to structure the 18-hour course depending on your requirements. For example:

12 lessons X 1.5 hours per lesson
9 lessons X 2h per lesson
18 lessons X 1h per lesson *popular structure for lunch time lessons*

For all of the above structures, you may request for lessons to be conducted once per week or multiple times per week.

Corporate Mini Workshops: Introducing your community to basic Korean greetings & culture
*popular as a team building activity*

For companies and organisations who would just like to hold a mini workshop (between 1h - 6h total contact time) to introduce your staff or community to Korean Language, we have the perfect solution for you. SKLS conducts Corporate Mini Workshops for companies, schools, and other organisations. We have several workshop options:

1hr workshop: Basic Korean greetings & introductions (romanised) / Introduction to Korean culture
1.5hr workshop: As above + Introduction to Hangeul (Korean alphabet) (romanised)
2hr workshop: As above + Introduction to Korean Numbers (romanised)
6hr workshop: Content of the 1hr workshop + Learning Hangeul (Korean Alphabet)

You may choose for the workshop to be conducted at your premises or ours. We have conducted workshops for groups as small as 5 students and as large as 50 students. Simply write in to us with your requirements at contact@sejong.com.sg

Corporate Tie-ups: SKLS Affiliate Organisation Programme

SKLS welcomes organisations to join our Corporate Affiliate Programme. Community members of our Affiliate Organisations get a 15% discount off all regular Korean Language Courses for as long as the partnership runs. Organisations with a large community size interested in Korean language and culture for personal or professional developmental purposes have arranged for corporate affiliate benefits for members of their organisation as part of their staff or students welfare package.

Why do companies send their staff for Korean Language Training?

(1) COMMERCIAL

SKLS has a wide variety of corporate clients who choose to invest in training their staff in Korean language. Some are Singaporean (or other non-Korean) companies who want to equip their staff with the language skills necessary to do business with their Korean counterparts. We also have Korean companies with branches in Singapore, who send their local staff for training to prepare them for deployment to HQ or for general advancement purposes.

SKLS recognises that the demand for Korean Language in the commercial sector is growing exponentially. Singapore currently has approximately 80,000 Koreans living and working here. Korean companies across all industries such as SsangYong (Construction), KIA / Hyundai (Automobile), Samsung (Electronics, F&B, Telecom), and CJ (Entertainment, F&B) are also globalising rapidly and making their presence felt in South East Asia. South Korea is also currently the fourth largest economy in Asia. Learning Korean for commercial purposes is now more relevant than ever.

Many of our students that learn Korean for work-related purposed are in Accounting, Hospitality, Banking, Legal, and Medical fields (especially aesthetic medicine).

(2) STAFF WELFARE

Korean language is the hottest, most popular foreign language to learn in Singapore at the moment. There are definitely die-hard Korean drama, K culture, or K-pop fans in every company. Some of our corporate partners sign up for the SKLS Corporate Affiliate Organisation programme to allow their community members to enjoy discounts when attending our courses pursuing a topic they are interested in!
